On the Mount of Golgotha

A prayer

Alone, in silence, trying to push aside all distractions out of my mind, as if frozen in time, wishing to surrender my all…do you see me?  I hate myself when I fail you and others.  The warmth of your presence is melting me now, my eyes pouring a river of sorrow…now I know you see me confessing, please help me to see myself…now forgiven, your love–your stripes–sets me free, thank you Lord, amen.

A quote from Maya Angelou:

“My wish for you is that you continue.  Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your kindness.”

Thank you for visiting your scribe for love, truth and peace
