The Delicious Benefits of Apples

My Papa literally ate an apple a day, saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”

We are blessed to have so many varieties of apples all through the year and November is no exception, for:

Apple juice, apple sauce, apple butter spread, apple pie

Apple crisp, stuffed apples, apple cinnamon cake

Hot apple cider, apple cider vinegar and apple scented candles…to name a few

Apples also pack body healing nutrients to burn fat, curb hunger and balance blood sugar.  Have you had an apple today???

Here’s a warm tangy elixir for the coming cold days:

Spiced Apple Burst

In a saucepan, bring to boil, 1 cup apple juice, 1 sliced apple, 1 cinnamon stick and 2 tbs. apple cider vinegar, wards off inflammation and curbs viruses.
