IS YOUR WORLD RUTHLESS?
PUZZLED AS TO WHERE TO GO
I SAY, LET GO OF FEAR
…in letting go of my fears, those shackles are loosen and I become fearless in pursuing my aspirations…
…how do you handle your fears?…
Rainbow with Ocean by Reina Cottier
Yesterday sitting in the pew, listening to the Gospel of Luke 6:27-38, I heard a phrase come out of it: Love, not hate. It seems the world near and far is screaming this reality. Now my Lenten focus is clear; not about giving up something, rather, seeing the urgency to pray more fervently for our world’s dilemma. Luke’s challenges give us many choices. These three pierce my heart to action:
Do good to haters
Bless those who curse us
Pray for those who mistreat us
If you agree with Mandela and moi, join us becoming fervent prayer warriors – our world is worth saving! Let us all Love, not hate.
GOOD SUNDAY AFFIRMATION
The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed fully grown to shelter everyone under its brim shade.
“God always forgives, human beings sometimes forgive; but when nature is mistreated, she never forgives.”
…over the years I’ve learned that forgiving others frees me to attain better goals…
…What results do you achieve when you forgive first?…

TO OVERCOME TEMPTATION
Overcome by a tide of temptations, Saint Catherine of Siena cried out:
“My Lord, where were you when my heart was being tormented by so many temptations?”
The Lord replied:
“I was in your heart.”
Not satisfied, Catherine added:
“How can I believe that you were living in my heart, when it was full of unclean and devilish thoughts?”
The Lord answered:
“Those thoughts and temptations: did they gladden your heart or sadden it? Did they bring you pleasure or displeasure?
“Great pain and great displeasure.”
The Lord finished:
“Who was it who made you feel displeasure, if not I who was hiding in the center of your heart? (Excerpt from the Dialogue of St. Catherine of Siena)
…facing temptation welcomes grace, and praying for strength gives power to overcome temptation…my go to word facing temptation is “Jesus.” What is yours?…
