What does the world say about God after all these centuries?

Have the fruits of the Holy Spirit taken root upon peoples?

These questions swirl forever

The relevant question is this – Do we know Jesus enough to make him known?

“Forgive your neighbor’s injustice; then when you pray, your own sins will be forgiven.”

Sirach 28:2-4

…may this day embrace you with loving forgiveness…

A Heart Touched by Mercy

Painting by Ivan Guaderrama

If you have a gaping hole in your heart, be not despondent.  If shame, guilt or grief weigh you down like a chained ball, there is one who can rescue you – not a payback God but God of Mercy.  What have been the transgressions of the past, God is your loving ‘Papa’ waiting to pour his unfathomable love into you.  May we all receive the healing powers of his clemency.

…this is the glorious parable of the Father’s prodigal son and daughter.  It takes a lifetime to understand how deeply we are loved by God…

“Humility of soul will always remain strong in a soul that understands the mystery of mercy.”

Father Donald Haggerty
