THE BEST ‘LITTLE WAY’

OFF THE CUFF Writing

“The reflections on a day well spent furnish us with joys more pleasing than ten thousand triumphs.”  -Thomas a Kempis

I say…

Be adventurous, be kind to strangers, give a helping, never expect anything in return, do everything for God.

A RE-BLOG POST – Bring Love Into our Homes – by Mother Teresa……

Following Teresa of Calcutta’s advice never fails so re-blogging this post delights me to share it with all of you today.

Boundless Blessings by Kamal

It is so easy to love

The people from a great distance

Who we hardly meet once in a way

But it is not always difficult

to love those close to us

whose love is ever so dear

calling us to be near and not fear

It is easier to give a cup of rice

to relieve hunger that eats you up

Or clothes that lie wasted

To the needy who wants them most

Than to let go the loneliness and pain

Of someone detested in our own homes

Bring love and cheerfulness into your home

For this is where our love

For each other must begin

And that is only in our Hearts

That is home to all of us……….

SO GOOD FOR YOU

OFF THE CUFF Writing

When I think of the delicious benefits of apples, I hear my Papa saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.”  We are blessed to have so many yellow, green, pink and red varieties especially in November.  Apple juice, apple sauce, apple butter spread, apple pie, baked apples, apple cinnamon cake, hot apple cider, apple cider vinegar and apple scented candles…to name a few.  They pack body healing nutrients to burn fat, curb hunger and balance blood sugar. Here’s a warm tangy elixir for the coming cold days.

A Spiced Apple Burst will ward off inflammation and curb viruses:

In a saucepan, bring to boil, 1 cup apple juice, 1 sliced apple, 1 cinnamon stick and 2 tbs. apple cider vinegar, wards off inflammation and curbs viruses.

May you be healthy eating them…have you had an apple today?

A RE-BLOG POST – Duties of the Soul

The soul is one of my favored topics to write about and the quote is perfect to compliment this poem–a perfect re-blog moment–hope you will like this.

DarylMadden

For matters of the soul
Things that we can do
Let us make it simple
Duties, there are two

The first is to wonder
Open to surprise
To be filled with awe
Unseen and with our eyes

Second, is to gently
Let go and let be
For our God is sovereign
Place our trust in He

Always taking pleasure
In gifts that He provides
Dwelling in the Spirit
In Him let us reside

The soul must perform two duties. The one is we must reverently wonder and be surprised; the other is that must gently let go and let be always taking pleasure in God.

A RE-BLOG POST – My Goodness

This a worthy re-blog.

REDRESSED, You are brave to speak truth in this post. Standing firm in one’s beliefs is paramount, with God’s protection for being courageous, so stand your ground…I’m with you.

Redressed

Hopefully you will stop spreading false claims. If not, then I’ll be there to counter them when I can , so people can see what you claim isn’t true. That’s my goal, to stand against theists who spread false information out of ignorance or selfishness.

(Accusations against my faith&me).

An opponent wrote this to me on another blog, and it is the tip of the accusations iceberg. Just wish for a better overview, and more love. Also, that I could see beneath the surface. I only read her responses and virtually know nothing about her causes.

I do see a common thread among atheist though, humans with their God not being so kind towards them. That got me thinking, my goodness how can they believe in a good God if we do not strive to live out the evidence of our claim. Especially when it…
