IN A STILL CORNER

Saatchi Art Red Chair with Window by Paul Wright

INKLING FOR STILLNESS

Four days have past waiting for a technician to restore my Internet connection.  So I sat in my favorite chair just thinking, amused by the white noise as I settled in a deep silence which began to tickle my mind.  I felt pleasantly detached from the world not missing the chaos I normally avoid except for you my friends at WordPress and email.  Finally today the technical resolution arrived…but I do not want to let go of the peace.  What more do I really need?  Nothing really except to resume writing with joy.

Thankful and reenergized am I for this interlude with silence.
