SATURDAY’S MANTRA

Loving Saturday – time to be free, relax and happy!  Rev up the mind and sip healthy smoothies, wishing to be on the beach…melting stress away…hope you like these recipes:

SPINACH COCONUT ELIXIR

1 cup coconut milk

1/2 avocado, 1/4 cup fresh spinach, 1 chopped apple

and 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract or fresh mint leaves

  Puree all ingredients in blender and sip away to improve digestion

BERRY VANILLA BOMB

1 cup almond milk

1/2 cup kale or arugula, 1/2 cup raspberries, blueberries, blackberries or grapes

and 1 tsp. honey and vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients in blender – so good for blood circulation and to erase wrinkles

CHOCOLATE BANANA SURPRISE

1 cup milk or almond milk

1/2 avocado, 1 banana and 2 tsp. cocoa powder and 1/2 cup ice

Puree all ingredients in blender – the cocoa powder helps reduce fat storage
