SEEKING OUT FAITH

TODAY’S QUESTION?

Has God found you?

You might find this question odd, especially if one is seeking out faith.  I remember the time when I was seeking God and he quickly reminded me that “You did not choose Me, but I chose you.”  John 15:16

The lamp of faith God sets out for each of us is a steady light on the road of life however dim it may appear.

Again, has God found you today?  I sincerely pray so.

LIKE GIANT DAISIES

Sunflowers By John Bratby

OFF THE CUFF Writing

These huge sunflowers pack a lot of history since 3000 BC where they originated in the Americas.  Now Russia and the European Union cultivate them for seed products…products like bird feed, lecithin supplement, oil, butter crunch spread and of course roasted sunflower seeds.

English painter John Bratby depicts these golden flowers as having distorted feelings and emotional moods.  They seem to sway radically conversing with each other, which is characteristic of the modern expressionist movement.

I find these giant like daisies exotic as they tilt they florets to the sun and when full grown face the east.  Myriads of sunflower types include bright red, strawberry blonde and Jerusalem artichoke (Images by Bing, Dwight Sipler and Christian Fischer.)
