Here’s a Happy Birthday wish and special dessert for my Beloved John:

Classic Banana Foster

Ingredients serves 2, ready in 15 minutes:

1 stick of butter

3 tbsp. dark brown sugar

2 firm bananas sliced lengthwise

1 tbsp. lemon juice

4 tbsp. rum

  1.  Melt butter in frying pan over medium heat, stir in sugar and bananas, pour over lemon juice and sizzle 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. pour rum over and caramelize slowly and serve immediately.
  3. A topple of vanilla ice cream goes perfect on top.

So easy and delicious…why not try it!

Yesterday afternoon a dear friend encouraged me to hear a video on YouTube titled “A Word for the U.S.A.”  It’s lengthy but packs a provocative message.  A prayer call for America.  Hopefully you will become curious enough to listen to this announcement.  I welcome your thoughts.  The battle over righteousness will be determined by voting on November 3rd.
