How peculiar does the mind work.  It seems that the mind prefers to stress about the future or grieve over the past so it can exercise some control over it.  This is the dilemma that prevents us from savoring the present.

Ann Voskamp writes about this conundrum.

“It’s the battle plan of the enemy of the soul – to keep us blind to this current moment, the one we can’t control to blind us from the One who controls everything.”

In God, there is no time, only eternity – or more simply, only now.  His name is I AM — wherever my feet are – is where I can love him.”

Bless you in this new week to live the moment, not the past nor the future..
