A RE-BLOG POST The Picture Entire

Thank you, Daryl, this poem encourages to be open to mind and heart for each brand new day, so well articulated that I must showcase it here.

Before me this morning
Horizons’ beauty
Dark clouds and light
Which will I see?

Perhaps it’ll rain
Or clouds pass away
Prepare now my soul
To be either way

Be not of the focus
Of worry pursue
A prayer now of being
Of the greater view

Will of accepting
The picture, entire
The masterpiece of
The journey of higher

Boundless Blessings by Kamal

RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS DAY - February 17, 2022 | National Today

Little Acts of Kindness makes a better world for all of us to live peacefully, happily and abundantly with one and all.No act of Kindness however small is ever wasted.

Kindness is another word for Love, Caring and Giving. Do little acts of kindness without any fear. Be Loving and Kind to each and everyone.

Human nature is itself Kindness and it is such a pleasing word to the ear.  It comforts the giver and the receiver.

Kindness is an act of showing affection, consideration and care.  Things which you have in excess you can always share with the less fortunate ones. They will thank you abundantly.

CELEBRATE MEMORIAL DAY

Painting by Leroy Neiman

“Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses…let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

–Hebrews 12:1

On this Memorial Day I can envision all who have bravely served in the Armed Forces.  I must thank my family cheering in heaven for me to finish my race.  Their support is immeasurable.

Who is your great cloud of witnesses to cheer you on in life?

I salute to the land of the free and the home of the brave!

ROSE EVERLASTING

A Pexels Image

Have you noticed that poetry and prayer share a common purpose?  They each issue forth from the heart where God connects the dots to everything we experience in life.

For instance, I placed a white rose, given to me at my mother’s funeral, inside a picture frame reminding me of her ascent to eternity.  That rose is still fresh, giving me hope and peace.

The White Rose by John Boyle O’Reilly

The red rose whispers passion

And the white rose breathes of Love;

O, the red rose is a falcon,

And the white rose is a dove.

But I send you a cream white rosebud

With a flush on its petal tips’

For the love that is purest and sweetest

Has a kiss of desire on the lips.

True to her good nature, my mother is now more beautiful than the white rose in the picture frame.

“A life filled with love must have some thorns, but a life empty of love will have no roses.”  –Anonymous

LIFE IS…

Painting by Scott Naismith

Life is remarkable!  Like a rose garden, one reaps whatever is sown.

“A rose’s rarest essence lives in the thorn.”

–Rumi

“There are no gardening mistakes, only experiments.”

–Janet Kilburn Phillips
