Abstract Painting by Adolf Gottlieb

When Gottlieb painted this abstraction, it reminded him of the ocean nearby where he lived in New York.  The black strokes make me think of deep dark crevasses on a road while the colored dots render some optimism.  I would color the dots lavender for sorrow, cobalt blue for protection and teal for heaven’s throne.

My “coming full circle” happens because God pursues me at each street I have lived on.  My wounds have refashioned me unto Your likeness.  Grace till now propels me to travel any new street because of Your Love…

So, how can I go wrong!

“With age old love I have loved you; so, I have kept my mercy toward you.”

–Jeremiah 31:3
