What courage the 12 Apostles gathered when Jesus commissioned them to proclaim the Good News to the world. Even without taking “food, sack, coins and a second tunic.” Mark 6:7-13 Their first journey hinged only in trusting God.
Whenever we go traveling, I compile a list of items to bring along. Funny how one time I completely forgot the necessary bags and had to purchase what was essential for our trip. That occasion made me let go of my “structures” and just take in God. To bear fruit everyday, I must step into tomorrow with more confidence in God for He knows what lies ahead.
I thank God for the people he places in my path to help me walk the journey in holiness.
Let us seek those who care about our souls.
