Have you been trying to outrun loss?
“No one likes loss and grief, but when we are most vulnerable, Jesus pours out comfort. He weeps with us. He reassures us. He points us to the Joy to come.”
This quote stings me as I recently let go of several dear ones so I can silently stand in the gap for their well-being and salvation. And whenever I acquiesce, God gently retorts, “I’VE GOT THIS! let go and stop worrying.” And my life is lighter, happier.
May this post help anyone experiencing any sort of grief or loss.
A good manner to end February…
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
We are Ephemeral creatures
“The lifetime of a human being is measured by decades; the lifetime of the Sun is a hundred million times longer. Compared to a Star, we are like mayflies, fleeting ephemeral creatures who live out their lives in the course of a single day.”
Contrary to form substance
We are fleeting creatures
See you in March!

Storytelling is so unique. We tell stories during the normal course of a day, sharing our beliefs, dreams, even our frustrations. The key to a good storytelling of our life is how well we adapt to daily changes that challenge us.
Here are some special quotes I readily appreciate from William Knowlton Zinsser:
“Writing is an act of ego, and you might as well admit it.”
“Decide what you want to do. Then decide to do it. Then do it.”
“If you find that writing is hard, it’s because it is hard.”
“Examine every word you put on paper. You’ll find a surprising number that don’t serve any purpose.”
“The secret of good writing is to strip every sentence to its cleanest components.”
“Less is more.”
I like Zinsser’s assessment of writing.
Go, tell your story today and make someone ponder, laugh or even cry with compassion. I will continue to do the same.
May this week shower you with much Love!
A Life of Celebration Day 21
“Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is LOVE.”
–1 Corinthians 13:13
Deeds of Love are greater than flowers, chocolates or fancy words on a card.
I hope you have enjoyed this 21-day challenge to love.
You are worthy of a Life of Celebration!
