ESSENCE OF FRIENDSHIP

“Spirituality is one of those realities that you have only so long as you seek it; as soon as you think you have it, you’ve lost it.  For Spirituality itself is conveyed by stories which use words in ways that go beyond to speak the language of the heart.”

–Ernest Kurtz

For me, the essence of any friendship is hinged on my relationship with God, and that is a tall order to fulfill.  By Grace today, a longtime friend has reconnected with me bringing me a cordial glow of joy.

“The more you honor me, the more I will bless you,” says the Lord.

Another friend has been silent lately and I wonder why?  Don’t we all search for answers in response to what happens to us?  The answer might be what she once said to me:

“Only by grace can I be strong to be weak.”

When we pour love into friendship, we become sacred community helping one another on life’s journey.  In time God seems to give answers to those inexplicable circumstances.

If you are trying to connect dots and haven’t found them yet, Christ is preparing them; they are on the way…patience is key.

“A rare gift, faithful friendship comes from the Lord.”
