OCTOBER 31ST

“Take no part in the fruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”

–Ephesians 5:11

The history of celebrating Halloween is baffling, yet many people unknowingly give themselves over to the works of the devil on that night.  A report from South Korea announced yesterday a stampede of over 150 young people died in a narrow ally celebrating this eerie tradition.  Now these parents grieve their tragic losses.

To satan, this occasion is to promote the highest forms of wickedness around the world.  Is that what people really want?  I don’t think so.  They just don’t know the truth about October 31st.  The “church” should be held more accountable, especially in promoting halloween parties for children.  If truth is not told, then we all lose a sense of righteousness.  Of course, this is an opinion I must share for love of God.  I can also respect any opposition to this commentary with heartfelt prayers that evil spirits will never come upon you.

“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.  You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons,” says the Lord in 1 Corinthians 10:21.

However, there is a good side to this topic.  As November 1st and 2nd begin some faithful honor the saints and souls in heaven in prayerful celebrations.   We can all “put on the armor of Light” to diffuse the spread of darkness.

One more joyful reason I can add, is that 37 years ago today, the good Lord joined me and my Beloved John to share life together; so grateful are we for the work He began in us.  So, with all this said, I encourage you today to celebrate all the goodness that is in your life…expel evil and the hell with satan and all his demons.
