“The crocus reminds us that no matter how harsh the winter, Spring always returns.”
The deep and cold of winter is right around the corner as the door closes on November and we wait for the Star of Bethlehem.
I’m ready for December. Are you?

“O Lord, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise.”
Sending greeting cards for the holidays was a favorite pastime after Thanksgiving for my Maman as I would address the envelopes. The Christmas cards we received I would tape to a board and form them as a Christmas tree held on a door. This trend seems to have disappeared and is being replaced with text and images on peoples’ cell phone.

“The moon is a friend for the lonesome to talk to.”
November moon will fade for December to twinkle shiny stars. Yea.
I heard God say to me today…be contemplative, pray.
“Streams of living water.”
“Whoever believes in me, as the Scriptures has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
I heard God say, ‘come close to me with a pure heart, live a charismatic life, live in the Holy Spirit. Be an advocate for justice and proclaim my Gospel, most of all, practice the present moment.’
What do you hear God saying to you today?
