The pre-Christmas busyness is a fine call to making holy moments count as we travel through the 4 weeks of Advent beginning today. So, what does this entail? Simply to journey to the story of the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem and to awaken a fervent relationship with Him on a daily basis. How so? To spend time in prayer and reflection. To truly believe what the angels proclaimed on that holy night.
“Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:14
We all have some sort of lack or need that Jesus can restore and heal. In giving Him those dark areas in life, we become recipients of His merciful love and forgiveness. Advent gives us a fresh start to receive new graces and peace. Let’s journey together to Bethlehem.
