When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the angels proclaimed “peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14. This peace is Jesus present in us and with that peace, we are given 4 promises.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.” John 14:27
“Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1
“He is our peace, who has broken down the middle wall of partition between us.” Ephesians 2:14
“The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
Each day before Christmas, Lord, gives us inner peace now and forever.
