A SOUFUL MUSE

Meister Eckhart was a soulful muse for a new lease on life.

I find his sayings light, encouraging and relevant for our current time.  A fresh way to begin a new Monday…

“Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.”

“And suddenly you know: It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”

“Wisdom consists in doing the next thing you have to do, doing it with your whole heart, and finding delight in doing it.”

When the Soul wants to experience something, she throws out an image in front of her and then steps into it.”

This one I like over the others:

“We are all meant to be mothers of God…for God is always needing to be born.”

Have an exciting week ahead.

DON’T FEAR, EXCELLENT CHANGE IS COMING!

What time is it?

The time is nearing…when heaven will transform earth, but not like what you think it will be.  Nuclear war is just a red flag, like social media wants you to believe everything they say is truth but isn’t.  No.  This is an Autumn season for falls where the final destruction of evildoers will occur during the darkness that is to come, but children of God will be protected.  The Prophets are shouting loud and clear as God says that half of the earth’s population doesn’t believe what time it is.  Have no fear.  The world is not ending.  What is about to take place is for the world to see God.

Here are some quotes that will reassure you that God is a good God.

“God will speak to each person as what to do and obey Him.”

–Prophet Julie Green

“My wish for you is that you continue.  Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your kindness.”

–Maya Angelou

“Let nothing disturb you.  Whoever has God lacks nothing, God alone suffices.”

–Theresa of Avila

“God is depositing layers and layers of light to expose the evil that makes the body of Christ dangerous before the gate of hell.”

–Revelator Kat Kerr

So, let’s pray strong.  God keeps His promises, he does not lie, and Jesus has already paid the price on Calvary for everyone.

Have a blessed weekend.

EVERY PLANT DESERVES LOVE

“Look at a tree, a flower, a plant.  Let your awareness rest upon it.  How still they are, how deeply rooted in Being.  Allow nature to teach you stillness.”

–Eckhart Tolle

On my shady covered wrap-around deck are my Maman’s plants from Miami brought here 6 years ago.  They shoot up new leaves without much fuss from me because of the gentle warm breeze and late afternoon sunshine.  However, come winter I must baby them inside from the cold.

“All life on earth emanates from the green of the plant.”

–Jay Kordich

Are we not like the plants that change with the seasons?  We peel off in the heat and bundle up in the cold.

“Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.”

–Earl Nightingale

“So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.”

Jorge Luis Borges

“We’ve got this gift of love…like a precious plant.  You can’t just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it’s going to get on by itself.  You’ve got to really keep watering it.  You’ve got to really look after it and nurture it.”

–John Lennon

So will I continue to nurture my mother’s plants to enliven her memory in me.

O MY GOSH!

Today’s Whimsical Quote

What if you wake up tomorrow and think this?

“And you’re a senior, and you never got your memoir or novel written; or you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years (because your body wasn’t perfect); and you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people — pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and starting off into space like when you were a kid?  It’s going to break your heart.  Don’t let this happen!”

–Anne Lamott

This quote makes me giddy…you too?

FEBRUARY’S AFRICAN VIOLETS

Happy Birthday to all of you this month with an African Violet

Your velvety deep purpled petals exemplify your character with loyalty, faithfulness and watchfulness.

“I do love violets; they tell the history of woman’s Love.”

–Letitia Elizabeth Landon

“The snowdrop and primrose our woodlands adorn, and violets bathe in the wet o’ the morn.”

–Robert Burns

“Look how the blue-eyed violets glance Love to one another.”

–Thomas Buchanan Read

“The humble soul is like the violet, which grows low, hangs the head downward, and hides itself with its own leaves.”

–Fredrika Bremer

African violets remind me of my grandmother’s gentle humbleness; she knew how to flourish them.
